Questions about official Washington County criminal records belong with the government office that holds the original file. Court clerks handle cases and dispositions, while the sheriff or investigating police agency controls its own incident and booking records. DCJS handles personal fingerprint-based state record review. The routing below identifies the official contact that fits each request; this private reference resource cannot accept record requests or filings.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated resource cannot retrieve or correct records, conduct an official check, or accept a New York record-sealing filing.

  • Police incident reports: contact the Sheriff, New York State Police, or village department that investigated the event.
  • Public statewide court search: use OCA CHRS for its exact-name and birth-date product, or ask the original court for a certified disposition.
  • Record sealing: file with the court required by the applicable New York sealing procedure.

Washington County does not advertise a separate online sheriff records-copy counter. The verified county-level request route is the Sheriff's FOIL Records Access Officer at 399 Broadway.
